katie and I are working out menus and shopping lists as our contribution. the meals will be scrumptious.
I do not think the house has internet access so I might not be able to post once we're there but I'm going to take my computer just in case. if nothing else, I'm sure I'll have to download all the photos I'm going to take of the beach, and haystack rock, and us eating ice cream, and the beach, and me reading on the beach, and us walking on the beach...get the gist of my kind of vacation?!
do you think this is too many books to take with me?

I think your pile of books will be perfect. Dick E. said that Jeanne read 7 books in 13 days at the beach so I think we can do the same, don't you think? WE are getting so excited about going to the beach that we can hardly get anything else done around here! Can't wait to spend time with you on the beach--walking, reading, sleeping, bonfire, shopping, eating ice cream, and sleeping! 4 more days!

Whoa! That is a lot of books sis! That's even coming from me who could read 3 or 4 in a day if I tried. I didn't think about taking that many, maybe I should add to my pile. It would be much better to be over-prepared then not have enough! I'm glad we get to do the food for the trip. I can't wait for next week!
Oh Cannon Beach, how I love thee...I want to come badly. I love that place.
