pie, ice cream and wine...the perfect birthday combinationtoday is my aunt b's (beth but we have always called her just "b") birthday. we had family birthday dinner at my house. it was a wonderful ending to a very full weekend.
on the birthday-girl chosen menu:
grilled caribbean lime chicken, ceasar salad, bread.
for dessert:
marie callendar's razzleberry and german chocolate pies with the choice of vanilla bean or mint chocolate chip ice cream.
eddie, traci and the kids surprised her by driving up from puyallup. aunt b always has the most dramatic reactions to things so the kids love to tell her silly/gross/crazy stories so they can get a rise out of her. it worked in our favor tonight. she screamed when she saw hailey coming out of her hiding place to yell surprise so it was worth it!
more weekend news posts to come later this week although I'll be in dallas the later half of the week for a marketing convention for work. posting might be even more spotty than usual. wish me luck. :)
