in case you didn't know this about me, I like to eat. I tend to find my favorite restaurants and then eat there over and over again. you don't know how sad it was to leave some of my favorites when I moved back to seattle. yes, it is sad to leave friends but leaving a favorite cheeseburger is traumatic also.
disappointingly, I found few photos of my meals on my camera when I returned. my only excuse is that I must have been so excited to dig in, the blogging mindset flew out the window. my apologies.
just for kicks, here is a rundown of the weekend menu:
friday
dinner: mexican from here. our meal consisted of chips, salsa, queso with chorizo, steak, shrimp enchilada, crab enchilada, rice, beans, finished off with ice cream and hot, fresh churros. throw in a margarita, a patron mojito and some virgin drinks for hailey, our tummies were full and we were happy. clemente was working, he was good to us and that's all I'm going to say about that.
saturday
breakfast: hailey made these muffins. fresh out of the oven with butter.
lunch: popcorn while we watched this movie
dinner: from here. we started with cheese fries and LOTS of ranch and ketchup. hailey and I always split a maui burger (cooked medium well, on wheat, guacamole on the side) and this time she talked me into ordering it with bacon. good call, hai, very good call.
sunday
breakfast: leftover muffins (still good the second day)
lunch: turkey, bacon avocado melt with fries from here (and a couple bites of hailey's pastrami sandwich)
dinner: we stayed in and had taco salads while watching this dumb tv movie
monday
breakfast: maple bar donut from teddy's (and a fountain diet soda from here)
lunch: flautas, rice, beans, and chips with cheese from here
dinner: orange chicken that hailey had made from here
and then it was back to reality and the boring menu that is my life most of the time. well, except for this and these that I'm going to make this weekend.

Mmmmmmmm. My mouth is watering.
My husband and I went on a 10 day vacation all over California years ago. I took a journal with me to write about averything we did. When I read it after we got home, I realized that 98% of what I'd written about was what we'd eaten!
Yum! If only we could eat like that every weekend together!!
Love the comment about the dumb movie. it was so terrible!
Love the post.
mmmmm, lots of yummy food. I'm hungry.
